Industry veteran sound re-recording mixer Anna Behlmer (pictured) has joined Technicolor’s new sound post-production operations located on the Paramount Studios lot, and will join Scott Millan and Greg Russell. “It is our intention to provide the best talent in the industry” stated Technicolor Creative Services President, Claude Gagnon. “Anna is joining what is quickly becoming the best theatrical sound team in the industry.”
Behlmer is the recipient of 10 Oscar nominations for Best Achievement in Sound Mixing, with her recent credits including Puss in Boots; Super-8; Thor; Megamind; Monsters vs. Aliens; and Kung Fu Panda. She has also been nominated for her contributions to Star Trek; Blood Diamond; War of the Worlds; Moulin Rouge; The Thin Red Line; LA Confidential; Evita; and Braveheart. In 2004, she received two Oscar nominations in the same year, for The Last Samurai, and Seabiscuit. Technicolor has also announced its first theatrical mixing project for Paramount Pictures, the up-coming 2012 release of Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.
On the broadcast side of the facility, Technicolor is currently handling the re-recording chores on many hit TV series, including Glee, Dexter, Criminal Minds, Vampire Diaries, The Castle, American Horror Story, Revenge, and Hung.
